It's not over...

The election results are in and though I am disappointed to say that we didn't win, I'm still so thrilled with all that we've accomplished during our race.

If you know me, you know I don't back down and I don't give up easily. There are many ways to fight for change, and so many of you do it every day in our communities: feeding the hungry, creating beautiful things, checking in on those who may be lonely, supporting small businesses, cleaning up our green spaces, and mentoring youth. We all make a difference each and every day and I'm so honored to have fought alongside you while we did so this past year.

But I'm not done! Not by a long shot.

My next commitment is to the kids of the Saegertown Basketball Cheer Squad. I became a coach for the first time last year and they begged me to return this year. They didn't know that they didn't have to. It was my pleasure, as the girls I had last year taught me so much more than I could have ever taught them. I'm looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and meeting some new ones too.

I'm looking forward to continuing to volunteer in our communities, as much as my employment and other commitments will allow. If you know of any opportunities, feel free to reach out to me; I'd love to check it out!

This is just the beginning.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your support.
